Thanks for the info. Looks like Jenny Simpson has never gone under 2:00 in the 800. Wonder if she'll get it tonight given her strong overall form this year?

In summary, hopefully just one of those days for Jenny Simpson, as she started out near the back, maybe worked her way up to 5th at one point, but then faded badly and finished 9th at 2:05.08.
Congrats to Lynsey Sharp of Britain with a comfortable win at 1:59.72, and to American Charlene Lipsey for setting her PR with a 2:00.91 2nd place performance. American Latavia Thomas got 3rd with her season best of 2:00.95.
