I am going into my senior year of high school. As a junior In the summer I got up to 63 miles a week, getting ready for spring track I ran 68, and for XC I am planning on hitting some weeks at 80 miles in August. I run easy Monday, Wednesday and Friday, hills Tuesday, high end aerobic Thursday, long run Saturday and on the seventh day, I rest.
I want to be really good this year, kinda a go for broke attitude. I have run ~4:20, ~10:00 and ~16:00. I want to run 4:15, 9:30, 15:00 (3 mile) I think I'm on the bubble for D1, but if I don't improve through a killer year of training, probably not. What are your thoughts?
Ps I am fallowing Daniels 5k/10k training, the 1500/3000 version worked well for me in track.
