Last track season was my junior year of high school. I typically do the 1600 and 800 but my coach threw me in the 4x400m relay just to see what I could do. I ran 2nd leg on the 'B' team and split in the 52 range. I actually beat the A teams 2nd leg, so coach put me in the A team. Anyways, by the end of the season I ran a mid 50sec split. I'm just wondering if I should do the open 400 next year. It seems like I could do a lot better since A) I didn't train for the 400 whatsoever and B) That 50 sec 400 is after both the 1600 and 800. Any ideas?
