It looks like a meet record- they have all the winning times for this Memorial Mile posted in the website and his is the fastest.
A very distinguished list of past winners.
All hail, Will Leer!
He could beat centro right now!!
I call shens. How is it possible that Leer could finish higher than 4th in an important outdoor meet? - Oh wait, there was nothing on the line. It wasn't a major meet.
He is a talent. I would love to see him get a strong mental attitude and do something special in a major outdoor event.

So true.
Remember, has never run the IAAF A-standard.
Pretty hard to do something special outdoors against top competition when you haven't yet run sub 3:35. But that's going to happen this year, I think. He'll still have a long way to go. You need to be a 3:31 level talent or better to compete with the big boys in a slower championship race.
I CALL BULLSHIT!
I don't understand how you people could believe this is fake.
brosjo say: welkum to the sub 3:52 klub
Huddle 4:26.84 1st for the women - PR?

I think he's had it the past year but it just hasn't worked out always. He doesn't seem to lack in confidence. I mean that in a good way.

We just had the USATF Championships where he finished 4th and lost to Pat Casey who he just beat. He never put himself in position to compete for a podium position in that race unlike Casey who ran great tactically, competed for the win, and finished as the runner-up behind Manzano. The race was won in 3:38 high which is certainly within Leer's capability.
In Leer's defense it was fairly warm that day and he has stated that he doesn't like to run in the heat; even for a chance to make a World Championship team.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
