Yet another update from Vipam? Why don't you just start a new thread instead of dredging up 3 year old threads? Are you going for a record or something?

Thanks for your response, could it be the same person answer my other post (less than 5 minutes ago) and just criticized but nothing related to the thread! I think there are a few threads longer than this one and just as old, so whats the real problem?

When I created this thread I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread about a upcoming distance runner that can list articles, progression, and posters thoughts in one thread (without having to search numerous threads). Will Eliud Kipchoge predictions about the Worlds 5,000m and 10000m come true in 2005?

"Vipam have made more accurate predictions concerning Kenny B. than he have gotten wrong"

That kind of grammar looks suspiciously like Vipam's. Hmmm.

Vipam, maybe you don't realize it, but you come across as an arrogant person to a significant degree. Every day there is some giant headline such as the following:

"BY HOW MUCH WILL KENENISA DESTROY THE KENYANS IN ST. ETTIENE?"

After the 600th time, we get it.

Mensracing and Letsrun post all articles about all the Africans. We don't need you to do it.

In addition, it is irritating that you feel somehow an authority as though you know exactly what everyone will do in their next race, as though it is some obsession for you.

There is no problem with having normal discussions about great distance runners.

But maintaining a thread started in December 2002 is obsessive.

Posting every day some article or time prediction for some runner is obsessive.

Say what your prediction or thought on the race is, and leave it at that.

This is a message board and everyone is allowed to post whatever topic they want as long as it is decent. I enjoy reading various topics and the ones I don't think I will like I don't bother checking. Maybe some of you who are offended by this thread and others shouldn't read them...its not that complicated.

making predictions about a lock is not really something to brag about. now if he made predictions that say meb would get a silver in the olympics that would be outstanding. but continually saying bekele will win isn't really adding anything. and yes he has been wrong about times and statistics in the past, this is a fact. not just about bekele but about the chinese and other athletes. he just posts so damn much people take him to be right which is too bad. he should check his stats before posting, or at least put question marks if he isn't 100% confident.

poolboyz or whoever you are at that the time of this reading, I'm not submitting my post for your approval! If you don't like them don't read them apparently you have some sort of fixation with me (its evident); otherwise, you would simply not click on my post-much less respond to each and everyone! GET A LIFE because Kenenisa Bekele is FAST (LOL)-is that an accurate enough post?

and no i don't have a fixation and i rarely post. but it can get annoying sifting through long posts which are reiterating the same truism over and over again. it would just be nice to have some of the noise in some good topics reduced is all. maybe you should really consider getting a website and making a blog, it makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

Does anyone know if Kenenisa will attempt the 10000m WR at Hengelo and also run some 1500m he planned earlier this year or has that changed?

Stop, Vipam. No one knows. If they do, you'll be the first to know.

Yes Kenenisa is currently communicating with the organizers of the Heneglo meet to construct a 10000m race with pacesetters so he can attack his WR. He stated he plans to run one 10000m and a couple of 5000m before the World Outdoor Championships and would like to run an extremely fast 10000m preferably at Heneglo.

Vipam is it true the Ethiopian Federation is asking K. Bekele and T. Dibaba to double at the World Track Championships this year? I don't recall Tirunesh every running a 10000m on the track, have she?

Are you now bumping your own thread for the 600th time?

At least learn to cover yourself by writing proper English, Vip, geez. At least he is now cultivating an attraction to a FEMALE runner, rather than MALE ones. This is progress.

You are a piece of work is this your 600th new posting name? Sorry but that wasn't me posting about Tirunesh Dibaba. To that individual I have heard that it is a possiblity but that Tirunesh haven't welcomed the thought of doubling as she first want to defend her 5000m title. The Ethiopian Federation usually gets what it want so if they want her and Kenenisa to double then they MOST likely will. It would be great to see what Tirunesh could do in the 10000m after she proved she can go over 5000m in the long X-Country Championships. In my opinion I think they both will double this year.
