She will be fine - why do so many people panic on these boards at every so-called sub-par race. You would think that no one here has coached anyone before, given the responses that I have seen. If her focus is on World Juniors (in 5-6 weeks) she will do fine. Whether she chooses the 800, 1500 or 3000m, it is unlikely that she will win (Cuban, Judd and Hinriksdottir in 800/ Ethiopian in 1500/likely some african over-agers in 3000), but she can still do well.
I personally think it was a mistake last year to push her into World Senior's as opposed to World Youth - that is on Salazar - as this sets her up for disappointment at any injury or illness that curtails her training and theerefore ability to race at a high senior level (she is frickin 18 afterall, and wether she is a "pro" or not is really irrelevant). Wilson raced like crap at World indoors, and is bouncing back - this will happen with precocious athletes like MC, heck even seasoned ones go through these ups and downs (JBS or BMart for example).
