The Great City Games are today.
Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake (150m), Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford (long jump), world indoor 60m champion Richard Kilty (100m) and world 400m champion Christine Ohuruogu (200m) are just some of the athletes who will be in action at the BT Great CityGames Manchester on Saturday.
The action will be televised live on BBC One from 13:15-14:45 (GMT) on Saturday.
Arsenal will win the FA cup & Barcelona win win la liga.
Bekele is in great shape, I think he'll win the BGMR comfortably.
I think Bekele wins.
He's a) Used to 10k and b) Has an extra week of recovery.
So sunday a sick 10k is planned, Bekele, VS Kipsang.
Who do you think will win it?
Personaly my toughts go to Kenny "Big Balls" B. but its an hard one.
Wilson was one week after the London marathon in my hometown doing a 5k track race. there he ran completely relax to a 14:30 5k.
So it looks like Wilson might take home the gold.
Both runners are my favorite but this time i am hoping Kenny will run a really fast 10k and will start to be a BIG factor on the track again.
People mentioning that Bekele has had an extra week of recovery after his marathon has got me thinking, how long approximately does it take for a pro to recover completely from an all-out marathon?
Will that extra week really make a difference?
How long do you think it was before they both resumed their normal training?
Agree with rojo.
KB takes it pretty comfortably.

+1
Looks like it will be streaming on BBC II:
"May
18
Bupa Great Manchester Run
Sunday 18 May 2014
10:00 on BBC TWO" - race's website
What time in the US is this on?
Yeah, Bekele is the right pick. I think he's still more a 10k guy than a marathon.
He already ran a good marathon, so I can see him being better on 10K.
The question is the time, will they go under 28 or even 27:30?
what is the course record?
When are the elite men starting?
No idea .. "technical difficulties" seem to be holding up the stream.
Going live now
They just said the men's elite take off about 1:40am, ET.
