A big story line in 2014 is the return to action by David Rudisha in the men's 800.http://www.capitalfm.co.ke/sports/2014/05/05/rudisha-eyes-eugene-out-of-doha/His first race was supposed to be Friday in Doha but now that's off. But the article talking about his withdrawal from Doha talks about him going to Prefontaine.
Brother Colm O'Connell said:
“He would have loved to go but he did not feel up to it. He has two weeks to prepare for Eugene and he is really up to it to be in good shape for that,” said Rudisha's coach to Mutwiri Mutuota.
To our knowledge, Rudisha hadn't been announced at Pre but let's hope this becomes offical soon.

PS. Wonder how adidas feels to see its big star possibly returning to action for first time at Nike's big meet. We guess both sides could view it as a positive.
An adidas athlete starring at a nike meet or an adidas athlete bringing attention to a nike athlete.
