All you getting excited about Ben MF True just remember Galen ran 13:01.26 in his first race of the year indoors in January.
Once the JV season ends Mr Rupp will come out to play.
EOM.

Galen ran 13:01 and people went nuts.
Ben is getting fewer props, I think, than the jerk-fest that was "The Winter of NOP"
end of message.

True deserves major props. Rupp's amazing accomplishment doesn't diminish was True just did. Don't be a jerk.
True got 6th on a WXC course that isn't even certified for Rupp to look at pictures of.
"January" wasn't the same as off season for Rupp. Rupp was fully focused, training, and peaking for those indoor races.
But Rupp microdoses on EPO, True might be clean which makes 13:02 > 13:01 (maybe cuz idk if True is clean or not)
He's also a rat-faced, micro-dosing, TUE-abusing little turd, what's your point?
So being coddled with every possible training and recovery tool only gets you one second faster in a 5k?

The 5k? Hardly

"Hardly"? Yeah, that's why he attempted and got the record at that distance and ran the 3000 at worlds.

He attempted a record that was easy for him in his season opener. That was pretty obvious how easy it was when he obliterated it. He then went out at world record pace in his 2m before fading to still getting a harder AR than the 5k. The 5K was a rust buster and he ran CONSERVATIVELY. Worlds he peaked for. He didn't peak for his first race or even attempt to go all out.
Rupp also ran his 13:01 in a paced race in a climate controlled building.
I don't find him likeable from interviews and I think he seems alienating.

How do you know "Rupp microdoses on EPO?" You say it like you know for sure, but your posts make you seem like just some random, below-average-intelligence kid. So I'm curious how you know.
Gee wiz!

It was a record attempt just a few seconds off of his PR. He went as fast as he could go. Stop being delusional. You're so delusional that you're missing the point.
He was focused on 5k shape. That's why he attempted that record and ran the 3k at worlds.

Are you joking or just plain crazy? The record was always a joke for him. He did not go out as fast as he could. He went out at 13:11 pace and ended up having a ton in the tank. Nobody with half a brain would think Rupp going out in 13:11 pace with a goal of breaking 13:08 in his season opener is him going out as fast as he can...especially since he ended up running 13:0! And especially since he was thinking WR in the 2mile in his next race...you honestly think his opener was a real and targeted attempt to run fast? Get real it was a hard jog then sprint.
he ain't just taking epo
he ain't taking no nothing illegal.
