about the same
3 miles via Subway (Upper West-Side to Times Square). 15 - 18 minutes from door to door.
5 min to the premises by feet, 10 min on.
Clocking in after 7min of walking.
90 miles through a beautiful countryside on the weekends. Just the right cycling distance!
Down the hall, with a stop in the bathroom. I might go in the backyard if the Wi-Fi is working.
60-90 minutes. It has taken as long as 5.5 hours (in a snowstorm), and if traffic is bad even under normal weather conditions, it can be upwards of 2 hours.
20 miles - usually a 30-40 drive
1/2 hour subway into DC. Running to work takes about 40 minutes.
23 minute walk

Please move closer to work. This sort of thing depresses me.
45 minutes door-to-desk via subway on the way there.

9 miles via foot on the way home (just starting this whole run commute thing)
2min to get car from garage, ~23min drive (6miles), ~3min walk from parking lot.

Too true... or at least take a damn day off when there's a snow storm...
I live just over 1/4 mile from work. Counting the time to stop and get a cup of coffee at the breakfast joint on the way in, takes me less than 10 minutes to walk.
60 miles taking 60 minutes each way. All highway. No traffic.
Across the street (seriously). Used to drive about 45 miles each way meaning it would take 55 minutes in the morning and usually 70-80 on the way home, decided since I was young and not attached to any one place to do it for a couple of years.
Realistically if it was the right job I would do 50 minutes each way again if it was consistent and mostly traffic free.
Man, my commute sucks apparently. Have to drive a short distance to a bus stop park n ride and into the city from there. Leave around 7 in the morning and get to work at 8:10. Nights are about the same, typically off by 4:45 and not home until 6:00. Oh well.
About 25 miles and it takes 35 - 40 minutes on an average day. The good thing is I only have to go to the office 2 days a week. The other 3 days, I walk into my kitchen and log on and start working.
56.2 miles. Pay is great. Ive found a nice place to live i can call home. I just am completely exhausted coming home each day and I dont recommend a commute that long at all. By the time Thursday ends ive put in 40+ hours including driving. Fridays are tough.
