Agreed.
That said, whatever the context, watching Meb hold on to first those last few miles (a couple of times looking like he was ready to double over, at least from my vantage point) and then dig deep and hold on, would have put the race near the top finishes I've ever seen.
Add in the context, and this was legendary.
