At my office, it does feel kind of lame when one of my coworkers brags about hish/her little Suzie's soccer team winning their soccer game that week.
But, one of my co-workers has twins who are going to be attending Harvard and Stanford. Of course she mentions it a lot, but in this case, I feel like it's a little justified because it's pretty darn impressive to get 2 kids into 2 of the best colleges in the country, let alone one. I feel like if I had kids who did that I'd be really happy too, so I can understand.
To what extent is it acceptable to brag about your kids' accomplishments?
