Running a half marathon in 2 weeks time. What do you think I can run?
I run around 70 miles per week, with around an hour of cross training. General week is one long run, one tempo/threshold workout, one faster workout, and the rest of the days just mileage.
Recent workouts:
9 mile run averaging 5:40 pace. Splits: 5:48, 5:52, 5:43, 5:43, 5:41, 5:38, 5:37, 5:42, 5:39.
5 mile tempo. Splits: 5:30, 5:30, 5:29, 5:12, 5:04.
2 5k specific workouts for when I was training for a track 5k:
6x800, 1 200. 200 jog rest. 2:28, 2:28, 2:29, 2:28, 2:29, 2:29, 31.
5x1000. 200 jog rest.3:06, 3:08, 3:08, 3:08, 3:08.
My current pr's are 15:54 for the 5k and 26:25 for the 8k, but I can definitely run faster. Recovery runs are usually around 6:30-6:40 pace. Long runs are 14-18 miles.
What does anyone thing I can run?
