So I'm a retired college mid d guy (800/1500) that graduated last May. After graduation took some time off and then did the whole hobby jog thing for awhile just to stay active. Finally got bored and decided to sign up for an 8k. Put in 5 weeks of training before it. My mileage those weeks was 30, 30, 35, 35, 40. I would do two workouts per week. Ultimately ran 28:35 for the 8k.
Nothing amazing, but I was curious and typed that into McMillen and saw that it said I could run a 1:20:19 half marathon. Is that accurate? I'm curious because I might like to try and run a half in August but my work schedule doesn't let me do more than like 30-40 mile weeks. So I'm curious if that's actually possible off of that low mileage?
