Pretty bad heal strike.
NOP spends a lot of money on form, with the latest and greatest tools.
The Hansons are like "whatever" and then they are surprised when their runners end up injured.

Definitely a fair assessment, especially since NOP runners NEVER get injured...
...idiot.

Has an NOP athlete finished 2nd at Boston, by 2 seconds?
i don't want to buy brooks and run like that, id rather be flowy like mo in some nice flynits and maybe get og gold, but if you would prefer to be second woman at boston once and heel strike for the rest of your life - enjoY!
Everyone in that photo is heel striking. Look at the bottom left. Even the cyclist is upset by it.
Truth be told, Desi is an "ok" runner but watching her foot striking pattern, it is pretty horrible.
I believe if her running stride could be fixed, she could run sub 2:20.
But the way she runs she wastes a lot of energy with every single stride and then gets injured.

And where did Kara Goucher's "perfect" form finish in that Boston race again?

Please show us what these heelstrike-to-forefoot conversion factors are and how you came up with them. That would be fascinating.

So this is what the NOP came up with?

There were a few CrossFit chicks posted a few days ago that looked really hot. Compared to them, Kara looks like a man, lol. #noCurvesToBeSeen

I hope you're kidding. Isn't that the 50 lbs lady from New Zealand whose legs broke down in Boston before?
3/10 since you got some bites.
Heel striking is not necessarily bad form. Lots of elite marathoners heel strike. Meb is a notable heel striker.
heel striking is terrible form, i wasn't trolling, just because you suck, heel strike, and are regularly injured doesn't mean you should defend this sorry excuse for running form
I respect Desi immensely and want her to have a great run. Heel striker or not...
