I know this sounds bad but I don't have anything in common with the type of people that see them as important. I think that people that seek either of them out are strange.

Not as strange as someone who anonymously brags about not visiting them.
One does not need to "seek out" starbucks to find it
More of a confession than bragging.

This. I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks, but I end up going there on occasion just because they are ubiquitous.

Wrong lady. I am on Facebook but I have been addicted to Twitter as of late.
Agreed with other guy. Whole Foods has good food. Starbucks has good coffee. There's nothing wrong with going to either of them, but it's pathetic to brag about "never having been" to either. No one thinks you're cool.
Whole foods has a nice buffet. If you drink coffee, you should at least try Starbucks a couple of times. The coffee is pretty good, otherwise they wouldn't be the biggest coffee franchise on the planet.
I'll admit that I find the Starbucks menu to be pretentious and confusing to the novice. I typically order by saying... coffee, black, in that size cup (pointing).
I don't frequent either of these places.

The real losers are the ones on FB. Nothing but toilet paper for the ego. Now go wipe yourself.
I still don't have a cellphone! I'm different!
I don't shop at Whole Foods because it is super expensive, but when I am in a city that has one, I will get a few things because it is a great store. Starbucks....not my first choice, but if it is my only choice for a cup of coffee, I am there. I prefer Peets.
Whole Foods is meh. Some good things, but shopping there feels more like a chore.
Starbucks coffee is pretty disgusting. I'd rather go to a coffee shop which serves locally roasted beans. You'll typically get much better tasting coffee and the prices are usually equivalent or lower than Starbucks.
I have never bought COFFEE in a Starbucks as I'm only a very occasional coffee drinker (though I am drinking some RIGHT NOW). I have bought other things in a Starbucks and probably less than 5 times ever.
I have been in a Whole Foods just twice. Yes the stuff was good, but there are two Kroger grocery stores close to me, and ONE of them has great produce, seafood, and variety at much cheaper prices, so we go there mainly.
I do find that the people who brag either about going to Whole Foods or NOT going to Whole Foods are not very interesting people.

The whole foods buffet is mostly dog food. A little salad, some dried chicken piece, maybe some hummus and a couple of dolmas...12 bucks
Look at me, I go to starbucks but I won't conform and use their goofy names for cups...I just point and grunt like a caveman
What state did you visit to go to a Whole Foods?

Driving down the interstate at 8pm, I'm getting a little sleepy and I need a coffee. Trust me, there is a starbucks at every other freaking exit. Not a fan of DD, McD and 7-11 coffee. Just give me the dark roast of the day or an americano....life goes on. I usually go in and don't get judged and in return I don't judge.
