I'm sure you can find a radius for "standard" tracks somewhere.
Area of track around curves = pi*[(outer radius)^2-(inner radius)^2]
Area of straights = 2*(width of track)*(length of straights)
Add those two up and get your answer.
Each lane is usually a meter wide + about 425 meters in length average per lane which varies based on the curve angle of the track.
Add in a straightaway which varies from track to track. Usually like another 40-50 meters x 8.
If the track is 9 lanes these averages go up. Some tracks have wider lanes, some (college/HS) have narrower lanes than 1 meter.
Probably 3300 sq meters on average. This is roughly 36k sq ft. Olympic sized tracks are probably close to 4000 sq ft.

*40k sq ft
40k is a good estimate for iaaf track, but a high school one the lanes might be a lot smaller, like ~60cm instead of 1m
The 400m Standard Track comprises 2 semicircles, each with a radius of 36.50m, which are joined by two straights, each 84.39m in length
All lanes
have a width of 1.22m ± 0.01m.
The area of each turn is pi(36.50m+8x1.22m)^2/2 - pi(36.50m)^2/2
= 807.7pi/2 = 1268m^2
the area of both turns = 1268x2=2536m^2
and the area of the straights is
2x(84.39+8x1.22) = 2x823.6 = 1647m^2
for a total area between the kerb and lane 8 line of
2536m^2 + 1647m^2 = 4180m^2 (the last digit must be zero because the lane width is only 3 significant figures)
and 4180m^2 x 10.76ft^2/m^2 = 44,970 = 45000 ft^2, again rounded due to the lane width being 3s.f.
But if you run, jump or throw in feet, you are not a real athlete. Use meters. Forget about feet.
