Listen buddy, be assertive and set boundaries and quiet times and such. Do not sleep with your roommate. But try to sleep with her friends.

I wouldn't do it, and frankly I feel the same way as you do. But if you are worried about those things, spend some time with her before committing, talk to her, and see what kind of person she is. It should be pretty clear after spending some time with her if she is the type of person you'd like to live with.
This has nothing to do with age. Talk to her and see if you get along with her. If so, then let her in. If no, then don't.
Fat White girl- NO, everything that is yours, is hers. Including your car, your d**k, and obviously your wallet; this will be the case even IF you aren't 'going out'. And if you accidentally sleep with her on one occasion this will be even more certain to happen.
Skinny Non-white girl who isn't crazy- better chance of this not happening. Probably the best outcome.
Non-white girl who is crazy- just don't do it either.
You're 26 OP, you should be able to tell what kind of chick she is pretty quickly. And if you can't tell crazy with one glance, then you got a rough time ahead of you in the girl dept.
Also Filipino girls steal. Fat White girls are a definite no-no. Girls not focused on their education are also bad because of partying and sexing at all hours of the night and day.
All these male female roommate threads are the same loser sharing some twisted fantasy. You OP are a loser.
Dude, Med school is going to kick your butt. The last thing you need is an undergrad partying or just being an undergrad.
Find another med or law student.

Lol law students are dumber than undergrads. But yes, you should find yourself another graduate student of whatever type.
When I was 21 and still in my last semester of undergrad I let an 18 year old friend-of-friend move in and it was absolutely the worst living situation I ever had.
Beyond simply not having lived alone as an adult yet (ie not knowing how to clean up after herself), she wanted people over every night, didn't understand that I had a real job and just wanted to have down time in my room alone most weekday evenings, and she'd do things like invite her boyfriend to stay over for 3 week periods without mentioning it to me before hand.
It's possible you find a mature adult undergrad and are on the same wavelength, but I can't imagine trying that again in my mid to late 20s
I guess I'm intererating this differently than everyone else.
I think, that if an undergrad girl is approaching a 26 year old medical student and offering him a room, chances are that she isn't a partier.
Sounds like she's kind of mature actually. If she's reserved and conservative (as I think this indicates) then it's probably a safer bet than a random 26 year old guy.

I've never personally roomed with a girl. But I have had roommates with girlfriends over constantly. In my experience they are a blessing. They pick up, cook dinner, etc. Women just wanna take care of us men. It's programmed into their DNA. DO IT.
