What teams out there can beat that Brentwood TN team in a 4x1600? Are they going to race it at the Brooks PR meet?

Blacksburg HS might have a shot.
Not to knock them, because i am a fan, but CBA and Gig Harbor have already beaten them.
Henderson from PA just ran well at a meet they had this past friday. I was throwing shot put and saw a lot of them in the mile under 4:20
Henderson's combined times put them at 17:02. Wow...
Central Catholic from Oregon
I imagine the top teams would be Gig Harbor, CBA, Brentwood and North Central. American Fork, Cincinatti St. Xavier, and Fayetteville-Manlius can probably mix it up as well. Most of the teams that qualified for NXN can probably stay fairly close as well - except maybe Hebron or Hinsdale Central. Throw in teams that didn't quite make the cut for NXN but had strong quartets in XC, and a few teams that maybe weren't quite as good in cross as they are at 800/1600, and there might be a few other teams as well.
But Brentwood should be US Top-5 if not Top-3.

Henderson ran 4:09, 4:14, 4:18, 4:19. Combined, wouldn't that be a national record?

Depends on the tenths (if you assumed they were all exactly .00, converting to 4xMile would put them at 17:06.08 and the record is 17:06.6h). However, generally relays are a little slower than PR's - I'd expect they would be around 17:15-17:20 for a 4xMile. At NBNI, Henderson was fourth in 17:31.43 behind Brentwood (17:15.58), Gig Harbor (17:08.44), and CBA (17:07.17).
Great Oak just ran 17:21 at Arcadia to beat Central Catholic (OR?). In their interview they said they were running it again at Mt. SAC at full force. Looking at the heat sheets, Arcadia could give them a big run for their money! De La Rosa FTW!

DLR's been less than impressive in the 1600 in his career. Rocha looks good though, but the rest of their team has looked stinky
Them boys at the real saint x in louisville Kentucky can give those Tennessee boys in the 4x1600 a run for their money.
There is another western Washington team that will be in that 4*mile mix by the end of the season. Mark my words.
