Do you mean strength and high miles? Or, more specifically, all on singles?
The fact that he has his guys do all singles is where he differs from most other programs in the country. I coach at a university known for high-milage runners and strength-based workouts through much of the season. But our guys are running twice a day 3-5x per week if they are in the 100mi range.

High Mileage and the amount of mileage depends on the individual. I know for a fact that his program is extremely individualized. Some guys run 70mpw, some run 95+
