A really fine piece piece of running journalism by Christopher Clarey:http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/05/sports/paris-marathon-kicks-off-a-month-of-foot-races.html?_r=0The piece includes a few hars statements by Bekele's agent Jos Hermens on Bkeele.
NY Times wrote:
"He has to get his act together, and stay motivated and forget about business and run for five or six years,” Hermens said.
He also believes Bekele should focus less on the 40-year-old Gebrselassie’s aura and achievements.
“He’s competitive off the track with Haile, and he shouldn’t do that,” Hermens said. “They’re not really friends, and that’s more from his side than Haile’s."
It's officially time to get excite for Sunday's race.
One thing the article forgot. Yes, Bekele hasn't been great the last few years but he did beat Farah at 13.1 last Fall.
It will be really good for the SPORT if Bekele gets great again.
