Marathoning in late May. Never ran in college. Was a 400m and 110H/300IM hurdler who decided to run distance for a challenge outside of work. Typical marathon buildup of 18 weeks - 1 tempo session & 1 interval session a week with a long run.
70-90 mpw.
10k race at 38:14 - not all out hard.
Tempoed 10 @ 6:53.
Last long run 20 @ 7:17.
Felt good after all of those efforts. Doing longer tempos leading up to the race and taper.
Can I go under 3 or maybe 2:55?
