Regardless, Bruce has gone way off the deep end if this is correct. I do recall seeing or reading an interview awhile back when he said he had sold himself out to the entertainment industry. I think it was about the time of the London Olympic Trials in Eugene when they had all the great decathletes there.

As much as I don't like to opine on such things, tabloids in America broke this story a longtime ago and it turned out to be very accurate. He's "marching to the beat of his drum," these days--I guess, good for him. It is strange, but its his life in the end, and many years later, if he wanted to do this, well, power to him. Right next to me, right now, on my shelf, I have a preserved and valued copy of "Decathlon Challenge: Bruce Jenner's Story," with Bruce Jenner and Phillip Finch, mostly for its vintage, nostalgic value, cool cover and romanticized notions of Americana.
It appears that Bruce is a transgendered person.
Some trans people go through sex reassignment surgery, and some don't. It's a personal matter.
It's common for people unfamiliar with the transgender world to confuse gender expression with sexual preference.
Transgendered men feel like a woman inside. Their sexual preference may be for men or women.
I say good luck to Bruce, I hope he makes a decision about surgery that he can live with in the long run.
Trans people are everywhere and have become more accepted, and more comfortable expressing their true selves.
