height 5-81/2

every Sunday will update log:
Goal - 12 months (april 1st, 2015)to get to 100/140 miles a week and then hold that for 2 months (or whatever my body will allow me to do), pace will not be that important, I just want to get there then experiment with it.
Currently running 3 to 5 miles a day at 11 MPH pace.
Last good training...Oct & Nov 2013 aveaged about 500 miles over two months (around 820 pace) but had to stop because of achilles tendinitis... note, I believe major comtributor to my injuries, speed training, running to fast on easy days, no patience, worried about aveage pace, and finishing runs to fast. No longer, this time, just run to run, no worring about pace...LSD..whatever that means, for me I think it means, walking some, running really slow, exercising along the way, just getting the miles how ever long it takes, time is not important,....etc.....
likes to drink nightly....beer and wine(sometimes have a cigar), won't be easy cutting back, but will try,
currently healthy (injury wise) - and not on drugs of any kind, never have been.
haven't raced in six years, mostly injuried, plantar fasciitis-9 months, achilles tendon - 3 months, Strained quads - 2 years, piriformis syndrome & lower back - 4 months, hip pointer - 2 months, and groin adductor strain-6 months (this one is occasionally still there)
eat pretty healthy (organic, greens, etc...)
here is my FiRSt DaY!
545am...today 2 1/2 miles this morning..pace 10:30 (no walk breaks)
545pm...today 4.30 miles this evening(1/2 way point stopped did lunges and squads (body weight)...pace 10:25 (six walk breaks of 30 seconds) gym work...comprehensive stuff, coach johnson and cook would be proud.
btw: 70 percent (30% treadmill) of my runs will on chicago lakefront starting somewhere around ohio st beach, north ave, or division st..
also: will only take time off when I think I need it. no scheduled time off, I will listen to the body and take a day off when feel I need to.....staying injury free will be the key.
Well, next update Sunday April 6th
NOTE: if hurt/injuried more than two weeks will give up and stop log
I hope I make to next week!..LOL
