A lot is being said about the 400m leg that Stanfords Steven Solomon ran but I just want to point out that Atchoos anchor leg needs some love too. The DMR comes down to the 1600m leg every time and it did again even though it didn't seem like it this year. Atchoo did not waste the Solomon effort because he GOT OUT! and made others chase him. Too often in big time DMR's the leader at the beginning of the 1600m takes it too easy. Atchoo made this race by making others try and catch him. That takes courage. Kudos to Solomon for being a stud 400m man, but bigger kudos to Atchoo for making this race a snooze for most who want the field all together with a lap to go -- but running with courage!
