Even when she's leading early in the race she seems to drift out almost all the way to lane 2 ..

Because she is a professional runner who refuses to run up someone's back like Grunewald.
There were points in the race where she did nearly drift out to lane 2. She got away with it this time but in the finals she will pay for it if she does that on the last lap.
The momentum from her enormously massive and plump breats carries her to the outer part of the curve.
And the banked second lane provides more leverage for her ample shapely behind to propel her toward the other turn.
It forces other runners to run out to nearly lane 3 if they're going to pass cleanly. She does it mostly in the last 400 meters. Interesting tactic.
It's almost a NASCAR racing type of strategy. Pretty brilliant if you think about it.
High center of gravity.

This is the ONLY possible answer.

I guess by her senior year in hs she really started picking up the pounds. That's quite a transformation in a short period of time.

Both yes and no. The first 600m, yes. But if you see the last straight she opens up to get passed on the inside, not good at all. Rookie mistake. Say she gets to the final, leads onto the last 50m, has someone coming up on the left, if she doesn't drift out the runner behind these two will have to pass in the 3 line, but if Price drift out this runner can pass on the inside.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
