I'm a big fan of all the Dibaba sisters. It seems that a lot of people on these boards think she couldn't have dropped so much time (or run a first 800 of 2:09) and been clean.
Do you guys feel there's a chance she's clean?

Do you think any women's 1500 record has EVER been clean?
Chinese factories are cranking out the peptides and a
world class coach is teaching them the latest training
techniques and periodization.
What do you think is going to happen at the next Olympics?
No I don't. The red flag is her coach and that other suspicious athlete he coaches.
Also, she did not look at all stressed right after the race in WR time???, her victory laps were very fast as well????
Clean? You are kidding? Of course it's not a clean record. Fools are the ones who like to pretend these records are legit.
Not clean in the slightest.
There's this ridiculous antiquated notion that African distance runners are noble savages - that they got this good from a mixture of genetics, hard work, and "running ten miles to school every day as kids." It's all horseshit - the Kenyans and Ethiopians are just as doped as the Chinese, Russians, Americans, Jamaicans...
Who is coaching her?

Doubt it.

Clean!
She has been a phenon since age 17 and has gotten better each year...why would she cheat before she knows what she could accomplish clean. What's interesting is Mary Cain has a better Jr 1500 PR than Genzebe and probably a much better 800 PR, although Genzebe has much better marks above the 1500. If Cain's continues to progress perhaps this is what we can expect in a few years.
A separate issue, what keeps happening to the Kenyan male and female phenons like Linet Masai who ran an 8:38 3K at age 18 and that is still her 3K PR. Masai is very-very good, but it is not like she ever ran 8:20 3K or set any the record. What happen to those Kenyan male athletes that ran 3:30 and 3:31 at age 18...you would think they would eventually run 3:25 by age 25, but most of them barely got any better.
The time itself doesn't seem outrageous. Women run under 4:00 every year, and someone has to be fastest of the fast. But it really is curious when someone runs super fast without appearing exhausted afterwards.

Most people that I know don't look that tired when they set new PRs. Are you really that exhausted when you finish races?
I think Tirunesh Dibaba is clean, and given her performances, her sisters' don't surprise me. So I think Genzebe is clean as well.
If I found out one day that any of the sisters were not clean, I would be more suspicious of the others. But for now it looks like they won the genetic lottery (not like that rules out cheating).
She would be running 3:50 with those east african genes if on drugs.
Dirty. You're a complete idiot to believe otherwise. EPOpia is in full effect.

How is this even a question? I usually feel like I'm dying after every race, especially the mile which makes me want to puke my guts out.
With that said, if I'd set a new World Record then I imagine I'd be too happy to care about how terrible I felt. I'd be high as a kite.
