She's been running so fast at such a young age for her abilities, and probably doing lots of high volume training. I think she'll follow the track of what Salazar has done and is doing with Rupp.
What do you think? 2016? 2020? Later?

2020
2016 or 2017...then injuries, I'm afraid.
She is doing 20-25 miles less a week right now than she was last year. Alberto said she was avg 40-45 miles a week right now. I would say that is far from high volume. But low volume high intensity may be just as damaging as high volume low intensity.
21-22. She may have a chance of maintaining the peak for a few years though.
High volume? She said she's been working on her form since WCs and has only recently gotten up to the same mileage she was at last year (60 mpw). 60 mpw is pretty normal for a HSer. She says "its funny cuz I just finally got back to the usual 60 mpw for the first time since before worlds, and I'm feeling pretty good about it and feeling really fit, then I ask Jordan how much mileage she's been doing. She replies 110... Wow ya know? crazy"
The weird thing, is when people run so fast so young we have this wide eyed expectation of what could be, its like the really good varsity freshmen kid in xc who has all this talent but improves less than a minute in HS. More often than not, big talents improve very slightly and never live up while someone that had more room for improvement ends up beating them in the long term.
Salazar will try to bring Mary along like Galen, and I'll be rooting for her, but I think she has a short but successful career. Kind of Alan Webb-esque. I hope she proves me wrong though, she has a great personality and is a good person to root for.
The question is what is the longterm plan of attack. Should she stay in the 1500? She is a once in a lifetime phenom even more so than Rupp.
Cain is obviously training hard but still looks so different and inferior with her poor form and weak upper body physique yet still killing it against seasoned professional and collegiate runners. She is a talent like Bob Kennedy who was an undertrained soft high school runner who won the NCAA XC champs his freshman year despite never running faster than 9:08 for 3200.
People that raw are rare. She probably can run 53 for a 400 without much speedfocus and could be under 4:00 this year for 1500. As a 17 year old!
It's obvious he's taking it really slow so she doesn't follow the path of Sir Alan who hammered too hard too early.
Around 22 years of age. Rio will be her best Olympic showing.
2013
Around age of 25, like everyone else.
Last year.

Not sure what you mean by high volume, maybe her workouts are intense, though.

This. Her BMI is below 18, she's bound to be amenorrheic and will soon start getting osteopenia and stress fractures.
At 21

Are you retarded? Girls who get amenorrhea go on the pill to stabilise their hormone levels. This is extremely frequent in female professional running, and before you reply, I am a professional female runner, and this is first hand knowledge.
You clearly know nothing.
