The A5 is seriously the best shoe out there. I would use it from 5k-HM any day. Even use it for tempo and track interval sessions and it is fast. Love it.
I wore the Hyperspeed 4 and liked it, switched to the A5 and like it better. They're similar but the A5 is just more comfortable to me. IDK about the Hyperspeed 5 or 6.
I just got the Type A6 a few weeks ago, and I love it. I didn't have any problems with the A5 (used it up to half marathon), but I think the feel of the A6 is even better.
No idea about the Saucony but the new HS6 is fantastic, much better than the 5.
I love the A5, but it has the absolute worst durability of any flat I've seen. I bought 6 pairs on discount about a year and a half ago and I'm almost done with all of them in spite of little mileage. Ridiculous.
What is the sizing like on the A5? I've been reading reviews all morning and half of them say to go up a half size and half say they fit true to size. I usually wear a size 10 in asics. Anyone?
The a5 for sure
I went up a half size in the A5 and I still always have bloody toenails after a long race. It's worth it, though, as the shoe is phenomenal. Best flat on the market in my opinion.

the A5 seems to be about true to size. Actually, the shoe ran a little larger than what I'm used to out of a typical 9.5
Thanks guys, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on my normal shoe size, a 10. I have a pretty narrow foot so im not too concerned about the toebox being too cramped. I hate the clown shoes feeling of running in shoes that are too big.
Bumping this to ask a question...
For you Type A5 fans, how have the Type A6s compared (if you've tried them)? I use the A5s for pretty much everything that doesn't require spikes - easy runs, tempos, races up to and including the marathon. The A6s look like a total remake. Should I test the A6s now, or stock up on the A5s before they disappear into the abyss of old models and deal with the A6s down the road? Thanks.

Any feedback on A6 vs A5?
I liked the A5, but love the A6 a lot more. IMO, it's the best flat out there by quite a bit.

BTW, I've used A6 for everything up to 26.2 and loved them even at longer distances. Really well-made shoe.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll give the A6s a try once I start running low on my A5 stockpile. One last question -
Was there a difference in sizing between the A5s and the A6s? I'm usually 11.5 in most shoes, but found size 11.0 in the A5s were the most comfortable (the 11.5s felt a little long and I could not keep them feeling snug even if I tied them as tightly as possible).
