NO HE IS NOT
NO HE IS NOT
Idaho is down to two finalists less than 24 hours after posting and 1 week after making the announcement? That seems fast. Forest is not even applying and I'm guessing Coach Taylor ends up at WSU. So who are the REAL candidates for UI?
U stated it yourself. Why would there be strong candidates three days after the job at Idaho was posted?
I miss the days when the main candidates for every job were:
Scott Jones
Brad Hunt
Wendel McRaven
Emporia GA
Who will Hetzendorf bring in as assistants at uconn
Uh...you can have strong candidates as soon as it's open. but to have them narrowed down to 2 is a whole nother thing. How bout some answers from Moscow?

wow, they have assistant football coaches with $750K base salaries.
their basketball coach has a $750K base salary and picked up a cool $1.2M bonus this year. good god.
Uhhhh. Yes they can have strong candidates as soon as it's open, but unless the AD or someone on the hiring committee posts to this message board then we wouldn't know that for some time.

I personally would love to see Stoker get a shot at UT.
Stoker will NOT get a shot at Tennessee. He will not even get a shot as an assistant. That is a fact. His days in Knoxville are coming to an end.
Stoker is a good coach. Be a shame if they let him go, but I'd love to see him get a shot as well.
The bigger schools already have their list and the interviews are a formality. I like the folks whom come here to look for job posting. Best of luck to you.
That's not always true but most of the time it is. Lots of state universities have certain protocols they have to follow. Sometimes they have to wait several weeks before they can contact anyone to set up interviews. I'm guessing the big time athletic programs don't follow procedures though.
good by what standards? Would be the best thing for him since he is tainted as a snake. The guy is a smooth talker. That's all. Haven't seen him coach. Tennessee wants to save money so they might hire him.
Missouri State University is looking for a head women's cross country coach/assistant track coach, new today
If by "new today" you mean, has been posted for weeks, then I agree.
TCU Hassan assistant position open
Stoker is a good coach. His resume speaks for itself. You may have some personal problem with him, but no one cares about that but you. He's done good things and produced results.
