John Hetzendorf has been at Wichita State forever, didn't think he was going anywhere.
OSU salaries for the campus. Why are the track head coaches so poorly paid compared to other "minor" sports?
Any truth to the Ucon head coach rumor. Hiring throws coaches as head coach has been a popular choice lately.
Wow. It's a real kick in the balls to see the low value of track coaches at one of the richest schools in America.
That's why you get a head coach leaving to become an assistant
Do i have this right? Beathea got paid 102,000 for the head Oh state salary? Hows that low for a men only job? Seems pretty good.If it was combined I'm sure they'd pay more, but that's not the case. Maybe you're used to seeing combined team head job salaries , which that isn't?

It is low because assistants at other programs make more than that. He is getting a good pay raise to go to IU.
The number of assistant coaches in track and field making > $102,000 pa would be??????????
Are we talking SIU Edwardsville or SUI Carbondale?

In combined programs yea, but in a men's only one? And also, even in combined programs assistants rarely make 100k.
Kind of ranting here, but one of the reasons why they are paid so low is there are 30+ sports. Again, ranting but as long as the athletic department cares about Women's rowing and men's volleyball (a sport where like 3 schools have teams east of the Mississippi) attention and money for the team will be low.
the posting for the director position at Idaho has a maximum pay of 63k. chew on that. assistants there must by on food stamps!
63k a year for coaching is still a great salary. No matter who is making what elsewhere!
What happened with St. Louis?
napoleon complex.
What ever happened to Courtney Babcock from Montana Univ?
I don't think any of the South Carolina jobs you are talking about are real. Not at Coastal, not at CSouthern, and not even at College of Charleston.
Can some one supply the websites where these job listings can be found?
How many are there?
Coastal probably an in house shuffle, hire on a part timer or volunteer. Have you seen how many coaches they have on staff there? no reason to go out of house.
