They would do well to sit on that decision as it looks like Hadsel landed a book deal on top of his acting career and with there never being a lawsuit it will be interesting to hear the rest of the story.

How about West Alabama. What is the story with that program? Distance?
She's following poor Drew Polley to WSU after Hansons dumped her.The position is a Volunteer asst. which Polley got her from his connections. Good luck WSU....thank God she is leaving this part of the country. To bad though for Drew he seems like a really nice guy.
UWA has offered the position and was turned down by the applicant. Not sure if they've reoffered the position. It's a distance-only position with full XC scholarships but no track money and they only use track for distance runners.
Decent job, crappy town.
After running for this school anybody at Toledo would agree Emma Kertesz is the last person that would want to coach others. She has no business coaching and needs to leave the running world for good. Her getting kicked off the team at Hansons is a wake up call to pursue something outside of running. She left Toledo for her own selfish reasons back in January and that in itself is enough reason as to why she shouldn't be coaching kids in the future.
Only blessing out of this is she will be at the opposite end of the United States.
Good Riddance.
Will Colgate bring in another coach then? Another distance person possibly?
Eastern Kentucky is looking for a grad assistant coach.
In what event area is EKU interested?

She is only volunteering..... There will be a new staff in place in the next 6 months as well. So many changes are likely in Pullman.

It's a G.A. Position; basically you do whatever crap task they tell you.
So does anyone have an updated list of jobs currently still open? How about speculative jobs for fall?
What's up with WSU Job??? Why start the process and not finish it?? It's been open since Nov 1st? They closed it while back.... Kinda weird to be hiring someone while the head coach is still there anyway eh? Not much respect shown obviously.... What's the word out there?

No, they had 4 coaches and separate programs. The Women's coach is leaving and they're making the head Men's coach director of both programs and just dropping down to 3 coaching positions.
Obviously it seems like there are two of these threads. This is the thread with the most information so I move that we keep this thread alive.
Can we consolidate the two threads on this topic?
There is nothing very detailed in the other thread. That is why that thread was dying off anyway. The topic on this thread is much more insightful.
Does anyone know why Coach Kimberly Graham Miller is no longer at Univ Illinois?
WSU is looking to replace a retiring coach. Rick Sloan is retiring after the 2014 Outdoor season. WSU is officially posting the job now in order to get more interest. The early betting favorite to get the head coaching job is James Li from Arizona. Will Li return back to the Palouse? That will start the ball rolling in the Pac-12.
Li ain't going to WSU. The dude barely has time for his distance athletes. He couldn't coach a whole team!
Washington State should be fine now. Didn't you hear? They have kertesz coming in as volunteer to add character and integrity to the staff. :/
