WSU is having a big alumni event. Are they waiting to introduce their new director at that event?
And what's this about a new director at Stanford Aug 1st? Troll or truth? So far, pure troll points unless someone backs this up with more news we can use.

Let's stop pretending that Otterbein is important and should be in the same conversation as Stanford, Washington State, and Missouri. The Otterbein trolls need to start a Division VI thread and leave this one to job openings from real schools people have heard of. Enough is enough!

THIS^^^
After watching some of your great cohorts in D1 track lose to d3 athletes at several venues the last couple of weeks, you shut up. There are a lot of great d3 coaches that would out coach and out recruit you any day and I've been at both levels. Otterbein may not be the greatest academic institution,or a name school but they do have track/field and CC and hire coaches. Every coaching opportunity is important, regardless of the level and each position represents all of us. At least Otterbein isn't cutting track like your D1 programs. So, quit cutting on the profession or get out of it - if you are really in it . Appreciate all of us in the profession.

I believe you are missing the point. We would like more facts and less trolling.
Meanwhile in current news- Stanford job posting clearly states the position. It's not a director spot...at least not for now.
