Some people enjoy being close to their family. Believe it or not, its not all about coaching at the BIG schools.
Second what family man said. I just turned down a D1 offer myself to stay at my NAIA school because the family is comfortable here. Leave the grind to the young ones. If you get to coach for a living, be thankful for the job you have and stop bitching about the ones you don't.
