Any word on the NE schools? Temple, Columbia? Manhattan?
Temple - No idea at all
Manhattan - heard they offered to a Columbia coach not sure which one though
Columbia - interviewed 6 - 8 candidates including two internal coaches - its down to Gibby, a former Columbia asst (not sure who - non distance guy) Johnson of BU and a former Yale coach.

I know my long time friend Jim Garnham (ND Jumps) intervied at Temple. Maybe he will be going to Temple?!?!
Temple finished their interviews last week. From what they told me at interview, they want someone who can win the AAC in 2-3 years with limited track facilities, only 2 full time assistants, limited budget and low coaches salaries.
Ha, ha. Hope the new coach has a magic wand. They should resurrect Jack St. Clair....poor guy worked for peanuts (I believe he had to teach in high school), had maybe one assistant, but boy he got his guys to produce. Temple needs to drop track and go Division 3.

Add Penn State to that too... just got a new AD so the decision process should come quicker.

I think Willy Wood is the Bradley coach.
Through phone interviews, looking to bring 2-3 campus shortly.
I would not be surprised about Wood at all. I know he is moving back to the Midwest as his father has been very ill.
Dan Ireland got the Columbia job is the rumor.
Ireland was seen at Columbia today. Big move for him from LaSalle!
