How about being single, having a good job, and living in a nice place without worrying about being held down by commitments? No I'm not 20, I'm 34 and I love my life. I've seen too many friends become miserable after being forced to sink into the sandpit that is the "average life". I can travel, spend my money on whatever I want, have sex with whoever I want, and do whatever I want. Rather than marry some girl whos gonna pop out two kids, get fat and ugly, and turn into a mean hag.
Enjoy your Friday night "dinners" at Applebees and "once-in-a-lifetime vacations to Disney World !
Okay...so let's interpret this WITHOUT putting your positive spin on it. You're single, because you can't get a date (you've clearly convinced yourself you are single by choice), you're working a good job (as you would if you were married...), you're living in a nice place (as you would if you were married...), and you're not held down by commitments???? You're working a f***ing job that's a pretty big commitment, 9-5 each day. So what do you do with ALL you're free time? Also, let's pretend that maybe, just MAYBE, some people get married to a beautiful girl, who remains beautiful for some time...then that guy basically has your life except he doesn't sit alone 6 of the 7 days of the week and jerk off, he actually has a wife.[/quote]
