Just because there is an accusation doesn't mean it is true. Not every sexual assault or battery (or harassment for that matter) is true. Just because a woman makes a claim everyone jumps to conclusions.

Did I miss a year somewhere?
Wait for the facts to unfold.
OP, you are a typical American influenced by the media.
You think whatever they tell you to think.
If you read any articles on these athletes, you'd see that many females file charges that are not even mentioned because it turns out to be some girl lying and hoping for a payday.
That happened to Desmond Howard the year he won the Heisman at Michigan. Turns out the girl never met him. She ended up doing 30 days.
So, wait and hear all sides before you say he's guilty.
You would have been great in Puritan wich trials.
Try being objective with the Miami Dolphin's situation as well.

if she is looking for a payday, she is looking in the wrong place, he is a college quarterback it is unlikely he has money, i am sure he has a full scholarship books, tuition, housing at athletes dorm, a food pass to get 3 meals a day at the dorm,a small stipend, but unlikely he has significant money, he may be projected to make millions in the NFL, but until he signs a NFL contract he wont have money.
Lets not forget that this happens on a college campus almost every day of the year. Guy and girl get drunk, have sex, wake the next morning, girl is ashamed, cries rape. This is not to suggest that actual sexual assaults do not occur because they do. However, right or wrong, the "I was drunk and don't remember giving consent" is used MANY times after-the-fact. I worked at a small D3 school and we had at least 30 situations like I described each school year.

here here and it's a slap in the face to the girls who really get raped.
"Everyone knows I slept with him and thinks I'm a slut. Um um um ummmm.... He sexually assaulted me!"

From the article:
"The incident report does not name Winston and describes the offender as being between 5-foot-9 and 5-11. Winston is listed by Florida State as being 6-4."
Seems like we shouldn't jump straight to a convication yet.
