Webb never ceases to remain relevant and potentially BACK.
Where was Mr. Goucher?
Snapping back from high milage running.
Not surprised he was only running 13:XX on Dead High Milage legs during spring.
I want to see some of this in his 5k this year.

That's waht I'm talkin' 'bout!
I would Ventolin^3 to give some stats on his potential for spring.
If in 2012 he was running 3:37 1500m and 13:49 5k.
And in 2013 he was cranking only 3:42 1500m and 13:37 5k
What do his 5k numbers look like if with this new higher milage he can get his
speed back down to around 3:35 1500m.
all's I know is the Nike salad bar better be cookin' up some new recipes if they want their golden boy to still be the fastest white guy on the planet, that's for sure

that is a virtually impossible question to answer, but experience tells me that if he did get back to 3'35 whilst training for 5k, then he woud be similar to lotta africans - running a decent 1500 off 5k endurance
( for webb, you'd have to consider his 1'43/3'46 days as from a distant long-forgotten era )
for an african, their 400 speed woud be 51/52, so range of times i'd offer them woud be
51.0 / 1'48.6 ->
3'34.9
4'53.4
7'34.5
13'07.9
27'38.2
to
52.0 / 1'49.6 ->
3'35.1
4'52.6
7'31.1
12'57.6
27'05.1
if guy's name was webbkurgat, he woud definitiely be looking at sub-13'10 & closer to 13-flat
WEBB.
Alan Webb, sons.

I posted a link to Flotrack with Webb talking about "being" at the Bowerman 5K. He ending up showing up here, but not running. The board accused me of being Alberto, contructing a promotional ruse.

nice one, but yeah.... where's his hair??? I thought transplant's were permanent?? Was his a hair-club for men special?
(and as far as his being the anti-samson, he had his best year right after he got that new head of hair. 'course it was sorta downhill after that, but....initially, the hair seemed to give him a boost)
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
