Will the real Baxley stand up? wrote:
According to LinkedIn, this Dan Baxley character (if he exists) is a Vice President and a graduate of Kellogg school of management at Northwesten University, which is one of the top MBA schools in the USA and maybe the world. If Mr Baxley is actually Kip, then Kip went to even further lengths than we may realize in an attempt to deceive. It wouldn't surprise me if Kip told Mark Singer to call up Baxley as a witness (or maybe his wife Lisa Litton?). I really want to know what's going on though. Singer uncovered enough to show the world in 2012 that Kip Litton is totally full of shit, but I bet there are still details here that would be jaw dropping if uncovered.
Singer's article did show the world a lot, but HE didn't uncover anything, the main bulk of info came from this site!!!!, he just happens to be a reporter whom Kip agreed to sit down with and answer questions that ONLY he wanted to. I give Singer credit, but I would have asked some tougher questions near the end, then he could walk and it wouldn't matter.
I'm a pitbull when it comes to the truth. I would sit down with him any day of the week, but he wouldn't get the exposure from little old me, hence no sit down.
The New Yorker got him exposure, albeit negative (seemingly for now). Laugh if you want, but as I said before (different handle), there will be a book or movie (LMN or Hallmark) about this one day and he will be laughing all the way to the bank. He can then claim that it was just all a joke...which I am convinced he will do in time.
Sorry, no jaw dropping details will ever be uncovered.
As I said umpteen times, he stayed in the back so that those runners would not be around to remember him when he finished an hour plus ahead of them. He can prove that he crossed the starting line by actually crossing it and activating the chip.
He got around at point to point races with an old bike, a rented car, or help from a friend who is the vault. What is jaw dropping about that? Does anyone think he was running the race and stopped to get his new set of running apparel from a spot in the woods? Too risky.
Pretty simple what he did and as to the "why" was to say that he was faster than he was, yes it's that simple...ego.
Why so many posts, as someone mentioned. Well...
What person has ever gone to this level of cheating with making up races that don't exist, cheating in a relay, crazy backwards splits that don't make sense (while caught on camera walking), coming out of nowhere in 10k races but seen at the back of the pack with different clothes on at the start, hiding his race number (always with an excuse), missing numerous checkpoints, having been dq'ed from a race(s), getting lost in a close to home 10 mile road race with 1000's of people, etc....then to top it off he's a dentist and his wife is an attorney. Who has a site put up by someone that is devoted to them and their cheating (SOKLR)?
With everything above, people will still question his innocence. Wow!
There comes a point when the evidence is so overwhelming that the burden of proof is actually on the accused.
Dan Baxley...yeah right, now that is funny!
