Rojo- why don't you take 2 minutes to call Kip's wife & kids. They were at all of Kip's races and can confirm that it was not possible for Kip to have cheated at any races. Mark Singer failed to make this one simple call because, POOF his story would be gone! Don't be careless and unethical like Mr. Singer. Bring some truth to Let's Run.
Oh wow, I've missed you, Kippy defender / reputation.com folks! Its too bad you can't out yourself, b/c if you are reputation.com or a competing company, you really do stay on your case for your client! You should at least get a testimonial from Kip for future clients "we will stay on your case for years to come!"
Most folks would let this thread die.... if you didn't pop up and defend Kippy, we'd all get bored... but here you are, just giving everyone a little mid-week-present! "call his wife and kids" you beg!
Now, the trouble is, anyone who has had family or friends watch them run a marathon know that despite the best planning of splits and location, it's still easy to miss your runner in the crowds of a large race. And impossible to keep track of your runner the whole course. You may know you dropped them off at the start and met them at the finish, but short of a few planned "I'll be on the left side of the street at the QT after mile 17" you really have no clue what your runner is up to for the time he/she is on the course.
I look forward to your next defense! Please, though, make it a bit more creative or at least more realistic a solution!
