Wild claims? They're backed up by photographic evidence coupled with data from timing mats. Also common sense. When 99.99% of a race's participants run a certain way (e.g., starting in the same clothes/shoes they finish in, starting with runners of similar ability, hitting sll timing mats, etc.), the one participant who habitually bucks convention can and should be singled out.
Once or twice my chip didn't registered at a road race. Once or twice have photographers missed me. Once I wore a long sleeved shirt to the start of a chilly, long race. All those things didn't happen to me at EVERY SINGLE RACE I ran.
When one of Kip's supporters can provide more evidence than, "I've known him for years and he's a great dentist and his sh*t don't stink and he's got a lovely wife," I'll start listening.
