Will this work so long as I eat a small breakfast and a healthy lunch?

Easiest way to create a calorie deficit is to skip meals. I only eat between the hours of 4 and 8pm (dinner and snack) and am not hungry during the day.
No binging or calorie surplus. No watching my calories.
I skip breakfast a few days a week. Mostly days I don't have a really hard workout the day before. Works like a charm. If I get hungry before lunch I just have a coffee. Also, I find it reduces how much I need to eat the rest of the day.

Take up smoking
I think it s better to reduce total caloric intake but have more meals not fewer. Just eat less at each meal
One time I lost 14 pounds in a week simply by not eating. Not eating less, I just didn't eat. It was a shit week.
I don't any links for you but I believe there's a recent study that for guys missing meals is a good way to lose weight. Females are different by design, they should ADD meals and cut calories. I'm a guy and missing meals works great.
Buy a farm, call it a ranch and do tons of work in addition to running. I went from 156 to 132 in a few weeks. Hoping to dip under the 4 hour mark in my next mary.
Thanks for the input.
I've was doing Leangains (sans lifting) IF/carb cycling... I find it's much easier to skip dinner than breakfast, especially since I typically train in the early evening (though my coach has me double one day a week) and my appetite is typically decreased after a workout.
The point on binge eating is well taken. As a former (highly successful) wrestler who cut a ton of weight I seem to be especially susceptible to binge eating.
Having read Tyler Hamilton's book The Secret Race (where he talks about Ferrari making him take Ambien and chug seltzer water after a ride so as to induce satiety and fall asleep before dinner time) I have started taking melatonin immediately after workouts. If I'm really hungry I have a michelob or two and hit the hay. I'm down to 183.
My goal is to break 3 hours at the Phoenix RnR in January. If I can be at the starting line weighing 175 or less I believe in my core that my goal time will be a foregone conclusion.
eat 5 times a day
400 calories each meal
work hard
you will lose weight
Look up intermittent fasting
Agree with cutting fat and skipping breakfast sometimes. This is the optimal way to shave a bit off.
What is all this horse shit about cutting calories?
If you are a runner you need to EAT EAT EAT!!! For the love of shit!!!! If you are a runner you will need 4000 calories per day just to not starve to death.
Apparently many of you are not runners.

Not this...
Just eat less in general. Count cals or macros.
The "Eat This, Not That" guy wrote a book called the "8 Hour Diet." The excerpt I read in a magazine said to only eat between for example 12 PM and 8 PM.

Depends on what else you're having. It's nt necessary to skip a meal.
If you have:
breakfast - 8am
lunch - 1pm
then nothing... good luck getting to sleep.
Surely it would be better to simply split your lunch and have half at lunch and half for an evening meal - or just make your meals smaller!
