The Grand Old Man comes through in the clutch.
Bernie is definitely clean. You can take that to the bank.

Pull of sub 13? Makes no sense
Lagat is a legend. We're lucky to have him run for US. My favorite athlete and just a gracious human being.
Sure, he is at great guy and a great athlete. A Kenyan athlete.
he's from the same tribe as obama!
little known fact..
this.
Wow, 12:58 at age 38 is age-graded 12:26, age-performance 103,72%.
Song about Bernard Legit:
Very Nice! Like very much to see him run. There was a very good article/interview about Lagat a few years ago in Runner's World. Definitely one of the best ever!

No he isn't. Obama's tribe are mostly into football (soccer).
Bernie is simply the best!
I'd like to second this poster's view. My admiration of Lagat grew when Alan Webb was at the height of his career, 2007, I think. I watched a meet broadcast in which the broadcast crew was just gushing over Webb. Then they ran a taped interview with Lagat... in wich they asked him not about his own career, but what he thought about Webb's accomplishments. Had it been me, I'd have told the interviewer to take a hike. Lagat, despite having far more on his record in terms of PRs and medals, could not have been more complimentary of Webb. It was very classy.
ya
it's very classy to take epo and anti-aging and beat your clean rivals huh!
stay classy bernie!
Yep, the same Bernie that suddenly needed braces on his previously perfect teeth a few years back. Huh; I wonder why that would be?
The same Bernie whose tested positive for EPO, then exercised his right to be present for the "B" sample testing but hid out long enough for his "B" sample to degrade before it could be tested.
The same Bernie who hid his U.S. citizenship so he could compete for Kenyan in the 2004 Olympics.
The same Bernie who continues to run great into his late 30s, just like Regina Jacobs did.
Oh, yeah, the guy's a real peach. How anybody can root for him just because he smiles pretty and says nice things in front of the camera is utterly beyond me.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
