Forgot to add - with his current level of fitness and after what looked to be a disappointing WC for Rupp, I am betting he is aiming to go real low in the range of 12:50 or just under...
everyone tired after WC+tactical race->winning time 13:05
Rupp 13:10, Lagat 13:12.
Rupp 12:56
Yeah, only 3 weeks to recover from that rip-snorting 13:26. They must be exhausted.
Gebrhiwet in 12:42.

No AR - not even close.
You got the finishing order perfect.
you can only keep your peak for so long...

Mr Wiggins, can you explain your obsession with Gebrhiwet?

I think Jager could finish over Derrick, maybe even Lagat as I think Lagat is finally feeling that age and won't rebound much here. Rupp did come back after worlds a few years back to run a smooth 26:48. If he finally gets his legs under him I see 12:53. The 5000 for Rupp is like that kick he never had or that NCAA title he never won or that 4:00 mile he could never break. It's been like a curse that he will break through.

Who should I be obsessed with? Farah? Rupp? Webb? Cain? Bother some of those freaks how about.
I just tell it like it is. Gebrhiwet is currently the most talented, and most likely to go with fast rabbits.
And it's Wigins, you illiterate skunk.

You don't have to be obsessed with anybody. Apparently that guy just thinks your hard-on for Gebrhiwet is weird.

No, you tell it like you think it is. And trust me, there is a difference.

There you go. That's all you needed to say.

Good god, you're awful.

There's already a thread on this with 70 posts and counting:
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=5375683No AR here, but a PR for Rupp, who won't win but will be close behind
Rupp runs away from Lagat before the kick starts in this one.
I wish I could say I hoped for an American record, but I just don't think it's in the cards. I only ones I think capable are Lagat and Rupp, and one is not getting any younger, while the other definitely seems to be having an off season after a great 2012. Maybe one will dip under 13:00. But I think the AR will stick around for a while yet.

Kevinboy, your grammar is so uniquely poor that you can post under any name and we'll still know who you are. Go back to bashing Paula Radcliffe.
