Huh?
He’s avoiding answering your question because he knows there is no answer. HSGFX has been a dog for years and there are no fundamentals that make it look like a good investment. It’s just another Igy lie.

Only time will tell if your purchases made since 2011 will pay off. I say they won’t?.
Oh that's right! MOST investor will wait for the S&P to fall below 1200, and then sell.
Equity markets ratcheting lower again today in early trading. I didn’t foresee drops either today or yesterday. They really seem to be paying attention to technical levels—arbitrary, but accepted.
I expect not much movement either today or tomorrow, but who knows. Every leg down is valuable, it might just create another good trading event. I still see a post-midterm bump no matter who wins, the question is from what level. If there is a major leg down from here i will buy, and sell the midterm bump.
These are interesting times in the markets. My friends who are in the asian markets are equivocal—over the past week they have both made and lost a lot of money there. I asked them what the point was of such a strategy, they seem to think that breaking even is success. I think they just like fancying themselves as “traders”, it impresses their friends and families. Great for those making commissions.

No, you need to understand what you are talking about before you troll, which really has always been your deficiency.
What is a 'Covered Call'
Covered calls are an options strategy where an investor holds a long position in an asset and writes (sells) call options on that same asset to generate an income stream. This is often employed when an investor has a short-term neutral view on the asset and for this reason holds the asset long and simultaneously has a short position via the option to generate income from the option premium. A covered call is also known as a "buy-write".

It was fun watching Igy and Maser lose their minds over a little dip. But that is now over as the markets are back up, TNA is up for the year, and HSGFX is down ytd. Normalcy reigns.
You may want to check your monitor.

Yes and you will be exposed as a yellow belly sap sucker.
Closed down 327 today, didn’t see that coming. One guy here bought a block to sell tomorrow on the theory that there would be a ramp sometime just because it will be Friday. I think he has a 50% chance of being right.
This retracement has some legs
Your guys trading China are likely taking a beating.

Yikes! Thanks for the warning.
No you didn’t heed the warning. The one down big time today, the one you thought you bought on last week’s “dip.”

But I am heeding your warning. The link you provided shows that fund is down nearly 4% YTD and even worse for longer periods. Morningstar gives it 1 star and a sustainability rating if 2!
No one in their right mind would recommend a fund like that.
OK, all I said was that it was a better investment than TNA.
Buy whatever you want. It is no skin off my nose.

I see no mention of TNA in the original post I replied to.
