There clearly was talk of TD's lower commissions resulting in increased market share.
Did you even watch the video?

Yes, and so what, and not what you imply. Clearly retail is coming in at the top of the market. Of course you don't believe it. But you are a fool.
I don't know what you think I'm implying. Up if we agree that Schwab and TD have increased market share with lower commissions, then it's a mathematical certainty they other brokers have lost market share.
Buybacks can actually be a good investment, especially in times of low borrowing rates. The return on investment can be quite good. Of course, it's even better for those companies buying their stock with cash.
It is especially stupid when companies buyback at record prices and add that debt to their balance sheet, only to be refinanced at higher prices.
Real smart, and not quite good.
It's okay when the record prices go even higher after the buyback and that's exactly what has been happening. The article is from two quarters ago. A lot has happened since then.
Your portfolio will tie-up like the competitors in my heat.
Up is good! Thanks for the good wishes
Not up, DOWN. You will go down in the portfolio finals, hitting the eighth hurdle down on the track. DNF.

You seem very confused. I suggest you leave the investment discussion to the pros.

Pros, huh? What are you talking about?
I'm talking about those of us who know about this stuff. Sit back quietly and learn something.

That's my point. I'm glad you get it. There may be hope for you yet.
Oh Snap!
Funny, but I'm not into piling on. I think this fellow has learned his lesson based on his last post. Lets leave him alone now.

Please. He's had enough. I'm sure he's thoroughly embarrassed. No need to pile on.
I'm sure he knows he has been wrong for so long now, the beat down has become a game for him and there is no point in admitting ignorance now.
Let's face it, part of the punishment has been his missing out on years of gains. I said it before, I hope whoever said he has clients was just joking. I can't imagine what they must be thinking if he does.
