I guess all Kenyans aren't the proverbial 90 pound weaklings. One just missed out on a bronze medal in the javelin. Wow....

Tero was robbed
THE CHICAGO CUBS WILL SIGN HIM AS A PITCHER FOR 1MIL.
And two years later he'll be the first decathlete to drop a 3:37 on the 1500.
PS, he was the first Kenyan EVER to participate in a field event in the Olympics.
The funny part is he is from the Rift Valley like the runners are too. Maybe every major sport should start recruiting out of there?

No he wasn't. The best thrower of the last two seasons won. No one else deserved to win as much as him after these two seasons and bad luck in the Olympics last year. I was rooting for the Kenyan as well but the Russian was lucky, his wife will hopefully win tomorrow.
Wow he must be the Ahnold of the Rift Valley..

"“If we could bring the javelin to the rural areas, we could have very many good throwers,” said Peter Angwenyi, a spokesman for the Kenyan Olympic team. “But the equipment is costly. You need gyms and specialty training and coaches. We don’t have them.”
But you have a very lax system of doping controls - your big secret that the rest of the world only starts to reveal.
http://www.aljazeera.com/sport/athletics/2013/08/201381011535328826.htmlIn the whole world, there are virtually only two groups of people that have worse predispositions for the javelin throw than Nilotes: Ethiopians and Pygmies. A Kenyan in the final of the javelin throw? Maybe once in 1000 years.
The difference between an average Nilote and an average javelin thrower is 20 kilos of muscle. But you know, PEDs can change your biology very dramatically, especially when you don't have to be afraid of any serious doping testing in your nice green mountains.
But at least, we have more diversity in athletics, haven't we? Next time, a Pygmy will probably grab gold in the shot put. You can never know.

The last two seasons doesn't count this season?
Vesely is mental. He barely got of out qualification and eked out a win only because Tero didn't find the 90+ that's been lurking in his arm ever since he trained with Zelesny.
A true ectomorph can take a PED package up the whazoo and will never have the build of this guy. He had the build of a bouncer of a high end strip club in Vegas, in other words he was jacked...

Yego needs to hook up,with those two high school dudes and give them his Ipad. There, they'll learn a technique or two on jumping.
Then, since he knows some Cubans by now, hook, them up with one.

You're an idiot. The javelin throw is a technique event as much as it is a physical one. Hats off to Yego. This won't be a fluke.
Why am I an idiot. Some fool who knows nothing about body types stated that any scrawny 90 pound weakling could get this build on PED's. I know they can't.

Am I the idiot? I can give you one example - a German bodybuilder Christopher Clark. He started to visit a gym, when he weighed 48 kilos (at 173 cm). After 1 year, he got naturally to 68 kg, but couldn't get further. Then he jumped on steroids. After several years, he was a beast weighing 112 kilos, with a 139 cm chest and a 51 cm biceps.
He talked about his drug regime and its consequences in a magazine in late 80's. Later he became known as the inventor of synthol injections. A lunatic, apparently.
But please, don't tell people that a slim guy can't benefit from steroids.

I think he's looking for an example of an East African phenotype.
Like John Yuda on a serious weightlifting/steroids program.
