Did you see Merritt's race? he caught up being so far behind... I wouldn't rule him out

Ya I had just seen the results, but I just saw a tweet about it. I guess his reaction time was .327. Wow!
Did you see the reaction times in that first heat? What was the reason behind that?
Are there any hurdle experts on here? I'd like to see a replay but I've never seen a start as bad as Merritt's. I was pretty far away but it looked like he just sat there.
Actually the reaction times are out here. My observation was correct.
Merritt's reaction time was .327. THat's aburd. Subract .15 from his time and he wins that heat by a lot. Richardson's reaction time was .178.
Ryan Brathwaite had a .397 reaction time. WTF?
I've never heard of somthing like that. HOw can that happen?
PS. I'm changing the title of the thread to get people's opinions of this.
Chances of a sweep? I think it will be broken but I think Richardson and Oliver could medal, potentially Wilson. Merrit I think is going to be out of the medals, he just isn't fit enough but being the WR holder he could always suprise me.
Stuff like that happens, it happened in the Turkish indoor WC's, remember?
Plus, Merritt is a scumbag cheat. Too bad he advanced.
Now all 4 US women into the 100 final.
Rojo--
Yeah, subtract .15 from his 13.44 with a slight headwind, and you get 13.29, around 13.28 or 13.27 basic.
And that is his real speed, as he had to push hard to get back into contention after his missed start.
Now compare that 13.29 or 13.27 to his 2012 season.
DISGUSTING.
I CAN'T STAND ARIES MERRITT.
Holy crap the mods are crazy censoring threads right now.

What makes you say this?
Maybe he was afraid of false starting as I think he was DQed for one early in the Diamond League?
old coach man--
You can start on this page:

There is zero chance that Merritt was clean in 2012. His 2013 season is just icing on the cake of the argument.
13.29 in this race if he had a normal start? LMAO

What are you talking about? So he cycled up last year but got off of it this year?
Have you ever heard of an injury. Is the allegation that he improved so much that he must be on drugs or is there more to it than that?
If he gets healthy and soon is back running sub-13 consistently, will you issue an apology.
The hurdle record is soft.
Look at Robles, Zhang and Merritt. All three are technically flawless. They all run races where they never hit hurdles.
They have removed one step from the start, but most importantly they have fantastic rhythm. That is the single most important thing.
I look at some other guys like Trammell and Oliver who were massive guys and could run sub 13 - 13.1 easily but would hit 4 hurdles a race. Oliver especially. He has a controlled recklessness to him. But he has no rythym to his race. Power will only get you so far.
When you master the rythym of the hurdles you will be better than everyone else. It's actually that simple in the hurdles.
Edwin Moses was not the fastest of the flat quarter but he had his race down.
Sprintgeezer is one those white littlepeckers who pathetically use drug
accusations as to why whites suck and can't win anything on the track.

Copies of Sprintergeezer's here and previous drug accusation posts are now being faxed to Nike Legal.
He no longer has automatic anonymity under current laws, and you are no longer protect from liability or his lies or defamation.
There is a line...
Well Oliver just won so it looks like power will get you a gold medal at least. That's not too bad.
Power got 2nd as well. But both were not the most technically sound races. But who cares when you are racing for place.
Merritt lost the rhythm (or never had it)
rojo you are the worst type of apologist.
Runners you like are clean, those you don't like are suspect. Amirite?
Merritt was "injured", Bolt is a "freak of nature", etc...
But why not give someone like Makh-Daddy the benefit of the doubt? He did change coaches in 2012 after all. Or how about this new young Moroccan? Maybe you should interview him or look into his training before calling him "the next Rashid Ramzi" or some other nonsense.
The point is, you throw out doping accusations all the time but get angry/defensive when one of your "favored" athletes gets called out.
My girlfriend thinks he's gay. She has no opinion whether he is/was juiced and doesn't care. Just thought you'd all want to know.
