Considering that only the sprinters EVER to have been caught using PED's in the USADA sanctioned sprints have been BLACK, then you have to consider there is a racial factor in sprint cheats. Black athletes lost their dominance in Olympic 100 meter sprinting during the 1972, 1976, and 1980 games; in fact WHITE MEN covered about half the grid for these races and took TWO GOLDS. These were the FIRST GAMES where full scale DRUG TESTING took place. During these three games the winning times never broke 10 seconds.

In 1964 and 1968, before this three game stretch, there were only black men at the finals and the winning times were sub 10. Then after the three game stretch, beginning in the 1984 games, there were only black men and sub 10 times again. And it has been only black men in the Olympic finals since. (This is all in the public record. The easiest way to confirm is to watch the sprints on YouTube).

It is my speculative theory that a far greater percentage of black men use PEDs to gain an edge in sprinting, and when testing began in the 70's everyone's times slowed down because they cut back on their drugs. Then, after a decade's worth of testing, the cheats began to develop loop-hole tactics and new drugs for beating the tests. I believe that it is more culturally acceptable for a black take the risk to cheat, it's like being a SPRINT HUSTLA'.

The science does indicate that endurance - the aerobic ability - comes from the female side of the two parents. I don't know about anaerobic, speed, agility, coordination et al.

You are correct however, I wonder how much more balanced the results would be across the races (nationalities), if there was the same number of Orientals, Caucasions, Negros, Indiginous North American, South Pacific Indiginous people (Maori et al) and Indian (India and area as well as Persians) and they all ran equally in numbers.

The reason why I ask is because there are only blacks winning. Now athletes start to get funneled into sports that they appear to be suited for in some countries fairly early. Why are there so many good soccer players of all races, white, Brazilians, blacks et al?

Now journalists and athletes document the participation numbers of runners in Kenya and they are huge. Kids running to school or walking and running, to and from et al. Also, at the high end, huge groups of sub-28 minute runners all together of the likes that you do not see in other countries.

If it is strictly a race thing, are Ryan Hall, Paula Radcliffe, Seb Coe, Christophe Lemaitre all outliers? How can you have outliers when a smaller percentage of your population or a smaller percentage of your athletic population even takes on the sport at all?

How can a caucasion with promise of a career have the same desire as an East African or Jamaican when they have nothing. What is that saying, "fear the man with nothing to lose". Something like that.

That can be answered with funneling to sports that the athlete can be good at early. And can be answered with the affordability thing too. Non blacks can afford to cycle, ski et al. They also participate in those sports to a higher degree than they run, at a serious level.

I am in no way suggesting that whites could dominate blacks in running, because the proof to date, as far as we know it, is opposite of that however, I am asking, if soccer for example is one of the only sports that is well represented across the racial spectrum and happens to have a broad range of representation because of that, why can't all other sports?

Soccer requires agility, fitness, speed, coordination, skill and other attributes. It is close to a pure sport of straight up running and requires little to no money to play. Additionally and perhaps most importantly, it is played world-wide by every spectrum of all the races.

Here is another, West Africans did not dominate at boxing, during boxing's hey day of popularity. Americans and Brits that are black/partial blacks that are of West African decent for the most part, dominated. Why them?

There is no question that Mike Tyson was the most awesome boxer from 19 to 23 years old, or a little longer, but look at the cuacasians and even some of the blacks that he was knocking out. They were in pathetic shape. He didn't fight anyone with an "in-shape" body until Berbick, mind you he cleaned his clock too. So Tyson was great, for sure. Was he on 'roids? He sure demonstrated, in a very public way, anger management issues. Anyway, why didn't West Africa's 100 million people not produce great boxers?

Go back to my soccer example. Why is it that a Brazilian an Italian, a Brit, a Mexican, an African et al, can all be considered to be at the top of the world in talent? Currently a Brazilian trumps, yes, but he is likely a mix of Portuguese and Amerindian, known as Cablocos (sp?).

The participation rate of Whites is atrocious at the world class level compared to 30 years ago. It could be young juniors don't think they can dominate and being an also ran isn't worth it financially. Look on Youtube and watch a middle to long distance race and the majority of competitors were White and Western European.
