You report that Brown gets to be on the team because she has the A standard and imply that Rowbury does not.

Rowbury ran 4:01 in Monaco on July 19. The deadline for getting the standard was July 20.

I'm dying to know if a curveball in the timing of testing led to the (rumored) refusal. If so, we may be seeing lots of positives.

I seriously doubt the reason is drugs, unless drugs made her go from 4:02 to not being able to finish a race.

More likely the reason is an injury.

Yeah where is the source of this drug rumor? Can we find a definitive source?

Re: Rowbury. There is no way she would attempt a 15/5k double at worlds, especially when she now has a greater chance to medal in the 5k. I mean the 15 semifinals and the 5k heats are separated by 12 hours from Day 4 and Day 5! That's silly! Chavez, we got you.

I agree with Montesquieu here. Coach douche you have no cred whatsoever, and you are digging yourself quite the hole here. Let's see what the official word is before casting such claims.

You are reading more into his article than is justified. Sarah Brown was listed as backup in the 1500 on the IAAF website before Moser was reported out. Backups are now listed. For example, Kate Grace is the 800 backup.
